1. Who We Are

AI Automation LA ("we", "us", or "our") is a software development and automation company located in Los Angeles, California. We build custom websites, mobile apps, internal management platforms, and AI-powered automation solutions for small and mid-size businesses.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit aiautomationla.com or contact us through our website. It applies to all visitors and individuals who interact with our website.

2. Information We Collect

We practice data minimization — we only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for the purpose it is collected. We collect only what you voluntarily provide through our contact form:

  • First and last name — to know who we are communicating with
  • Email address — to respond to your inquiry
  • Phone number (optional) — only if you choose to provide it
  • Industry / company type — to understand your business context
  • Message content — details about your project or question

We do not collect any of the following categories of sensitive personal information:

  • Social Security numbers or government-issued IDs
  • Financial account numbers, payment card data, or bank information
  • Health, medical, or biometric data
  • Precise geolocation data
  • Racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or political opinions
  • Sexual orientation or gender identity
  • Private communications (emails, texts, messages)

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools. We do not build profiles, engage in targeted advertising, or use automated decision-making systems that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

Standard HTTP server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamp) may be captured by our hosting provider, Vercel, as part of normal infrastructure operations. We do not access or store these logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information submitted through our contact form is used solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or project request
  • Schedule a free consultation if you request one
  • Follow up on any ongoing conversation related to your inquiry

We do not:

  • Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party
  • Use your information for targeted advertising
  • Share your information with data brokers
  • Use automated profiling or algorithmic systems to make decisions about you

4. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies for marketing, advertising, or behavioral tracking.

Our website infrastructure may involve the following technical (necessary) cookies or similar technologies — these are set automatically by our service providers as part of normal site operation and are not used to track you across other websites:

  • Vercel — our hosting provider may set short-lived session identifiers or performance cookies for infrastructure purposes (e.g., load balancing). These do not persist after your session ends.
  • Formspree — our contact form provider may set a cookie during form submission to prevent spam. This cookie does not track browsing behavior.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising networks, re-targeting pixels, or any other third-party tracking or profiling tools. You can verify this at any time using your browser's developer tools or a tool like Ghostery.

Because we do not use marketing or preference cookies, no cookie consent banner is displayed. If you have enabled a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, we honor that preference — no behavioral tracking occurs regardless.

5. Third-Party Services

Our contact form is processed by Formspree(formspree.io), a form backend service. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to Formspree's servers and forwarded to our email inbox. Formspree acts as a service provider processing data on our behalf. Their privacy policy governs their data handling: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

This website is hosted on Vercel(vercel.com). Vercel may collect standard server logs as part of infrastructure operations. Vercel's privacy policy applies: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics tools on this website. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

Inquiry emails are retained in our inbox for as long as necessary to manage the conversation and any resulting business relationship, typically no longer than 2 yearsfrom the date of last contact. When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 11).

7. Your Privacy Rights (All U.S. Residents)

Regardless of which state you live in, we respect and honor the following rights for all U.S. residents, in alignment with the principles of the American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws:

  • Right to Know — You have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the purposes for which it is used, and who we share it with.
  • Right to Access & Portability — You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, in a portable, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Right to Correct — You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Delete — You have the right to request that we delete your personal information. We will honor deletion requests within 45 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — We do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising. This right is therefore not applicable, but you may contact us at any time to confirm this.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Automated Decision-Making — We do not use automated profiling or algorithmic decision-making that produces legal or significant effects on you. This right is therefore not applicable.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — We will never deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 10. We will respond within 45 days (extendable by an additional 45 days if reasonably necessary, with notice to you).

8. California Residents — Additional Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provides additional protections. In addition to the rights listed in Section 6, you have the right to:

  • Limit use of sensitive personal information — We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, so this right is not applicable.
  • Request a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information for direct marketing purposes — we do not share data for marketing, so this right is not applicable.

California residents may submit requests by contacting us (see Section 10). We will respond within 45 days as required by California law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf.

We do not sell personal information and have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. This is consistent with the heightened protections for minors under the proposed American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 17 has submitted personal information through our site, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted through this website
  • Access to contact form submissions is limited to authorized personnel only
  • We use reputable, security-focused service providers (Formspree, Vercel)

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
